App: Sensors for iPhone

App: Sensors for iPhone (com.laterretagames.sensores) · Last updated: 03 Nov 2026

1. Who is responsible

The app is published by La Terreta Games. For any privacy question write to: info@laterretagames.com.

2. What the app does

“Sensors” shows live readings from your iPhone’s sensors and data sources (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, compass, pedometer, battery, etc.), plots them on charts and lets you log and export them as CSV. Sensor readings are processed only on your iPhone. We do not send them to any server or share them with anyone, including the ad provider. The app has no user accounts.

3. Permissions the app may request

  • Motion & Fitness: when you open the pedometer, activity and headphone motion screens, to show steps, distance, detected activity and head motion.
  • Location (while using the app): only when you open the “Location (GPS)” screen, to show speed, altitude, course and accuracy. Location is not stored or sent, unless you log a session yourself (see section 4). The app does not share your location with the ad provider.
  • Microphone: only when you open the “Sound level” screen, to compute the signal level. No audio is recorded or stored.
  • Tracking (App Tracking Transparency): when the app starts, after the consent notice, iOS may ask whether you allow the app to track you to show personalised ads. You can decline and the app works the same.

You can withdraw any of these permissions in Settings › Sensors. The other sensors need no permissions.

4. What is stored on your device

Only if you tap “Log data”, the app saves a CSV file with that session’s readings in the app’s own storage (visible in the Files app). Only you have access to it. You can delete it from the “Logs” tab; it is also removed when you uninstall the app. If you choose to export or share a file, you do it yourself through the system share sheet.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows banner ads on the list screens (Sensors and Logs) through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. For this the app connects to the internet and AdMob may collect and process, on its own behalf and under its own privacy policy:

  • Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) if you have allowed tracking, and the vendor identifier (IDFV).
  • IP address and the approximate location derived from it.
  • App usage and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) and diagnostics and performance data.

This data is used to serve ads (personalised if you allowed it, non-personalised otherwise), measure their performance and prevent fraud. Sensor readings, your logs and your GPS location are never sent to AdMob.

Consent and control. On first launch, and where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), the app shows Google’s consent form (UMP) and then Apple’s tracking request. You can change your choice at any time under Info › “Ad privacy options” (when available) and in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. You can also limit ad personalisation in Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising.

More on how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Data we do not collect

The app has no user accounts or sign-up, includes no analytics tools of our own, and does not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or financial data. Apart from the ad service described in section 5, no data is shared with third parties.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 14 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your rights

We do not collect or keep your personal data on our servers. Logs you create exist only on your device and you can delete them yourself. For data processed by Google AdMob you can exercise your rights (access, correction, deletion, objection, withdrawal of consent) through the in-app options described in section 5 and Google’s policy. If you have questions, write to us or contact your data protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will publish the new version here with its update date.
